Access planning before installation

Before mobilisation

• Confirm safe access to fixing and finishing positions.
• Plan the route from unloading to installation.
• Check scaffold or MEWP access against the work area.
• Coordinate shared access and exclusion zones with other trades.
• Confirm drawings, materials and area release.

Resolve constraints early

Record missing details, restricted access and unfinished supporting work before the planned start. Agree a revised sequence with the site team where needed.

Access plans and RAMS must reflect the specific site and works.
